ZELENSKYY: For the first time, Americans reacted positively to giving us licenses to produce Patriot missiles. American production is 700 Patriot missiles a year.

Americans recently granted licenses to Germans. We signed contract with Germans to produce 600 missiles for Ukraine.

What Ukraine ultimately wants, and what everyone agrees on, is that in addition to Germans in Europe, we now have all technical capabilities in Ukraine to start producing missiles for Patriot systems ourselves.

For this, we need licenses from United States. I know entire leadership of these European and American companies that are currently responsible for Patriot system production.

We have reached the point where the only approval we still need is from Trump personally, everyone else agrees.

I met with the Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, @MathiasCormann. Ukraine’s membership in the OECD is very important to us. And today, we are taking a step in this direction – the Prime Minister submitted Ukraine’s official updated application for OECD membership. We hope to receive candidate status as early as this autumn. The next stage is a roadmap toward OECD membership. We discussed this during the meeting.

We also paid special attention to Ukraine’s progress on the path to European integration and the implementation of reforms necessary for rapid progress toward EU membership. We also spoke about the implementation of the European Union’s financial support package, the strengthening of sanctions against Russia, and engagement with partners.

Contexte : le bloggeur militaire russe Fighterbomber, extrêmement réputé, a posté sur Telegram récemment que de larges quantités de carburant allaient arriver prochainement en Crimée occupée.

Les services ukrainiens ont donc monté l'opération de cette nuit visant à frapper des sites stratégiques et enrayer la logistique russe. Le résultat est un immense succès, la Crimée est en pénurie grave de carburant et seuls les services publics sont autorisés à en utiliser.

Et l'histoire ne s'arrête pas là ! Parce que les Ukrainiens ont sorti le nom, prénom et ville de Fighterbomber, l'exposant à de possibles répercussions de la part de son propre pays. Le tout avec une image humoristique de The Office, le trolling est fort et la capacité du renseignement ukrainien l'est encore plus.

Donc en plus du succès tactique qui met toute la Crimée dans une situation logistique précaire et sensible, c'est un des plus importants bloggeurs militaires de Russie qui est pointé du doigt et qui pourrait, on croise les doigts, voir le FSB toquer à sa porte.

Si j'étais lui, je réfléchirais à demander l'asile politique sur Mars.

Just when you thought Russia's week couldn't get any more chaotic, their military-industrial complex decided to put on a spectacular fireworks show.. 🇷🇺🚀 Reports indicate that a major strategic missile just exploded directly during liftoff, completely wiping out a whole launch facility!

Preliminary data suggests that either the RS-28 Sarmat ICBM (Putin's favorite nuclear-saber-rattling toy) or the newer Oreshnik ballistic system detonated the exact second it ignited. Alexander Browder, a 17-year-old London teenager, has become Russia's youngest ever sanctions target. He has built a database exposing the crypto networks helping Russia and other rogue states dodge Western sanctions.

In March, @Alexbrowder_ published a report for the Henry Jackson Society think tank, describing money-laundering mechanisms involving cryptocurrencies and estimating the scale of such operations by Russia, Iran, and North Korea at around $350 billion.

▪️ Cryptocurrency as a sanctions-evasion tool

A stablecoin is a type of cryptocurrency whose value is pegged to a stable asset. This may be a currency, such as the ruble. This avoids the sharp price fluctuations typical of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, making the token convenient for payments and transfers.

According to Alexander Browder, this stability made the A7A5 stablecoin a useful instrument for sanctions evasion. The ruble-pegged token allowed payments to be conducted outside the banking system, which has been blocked for Russia by Western sanctions.

Alexander described A7A5 as one of the West's biggest challenges in the fight against money laundering. According to the British Foreign Office, more than $90 billion passed through the stablecoin network linked to the token in the past year alone.

That figure is comparable to roughly half of Russia's annual military spending. In late May, London imposed sanctions on 18 platforms in several countries, accusing them of creating shadow financial systems to circumvent restrictions.

▪️ Russia's response

On June 2, the Russian foreign ministry added Browder and four other British citizens to its sanctions list. They were accused of "slander and spreading false information." The teenager was banned from entering Russia.

Browder himself took the move calmly. According to him, the sanctions have become a badge of honor and proof that his investigation has "touched a nerve."

By the way, Alexander is the son of financier and human rights advocate William Browder @Billbrowder, CEO and co-founder of Hermitage Capital. His lawyer, Sergei Magnitsky, died in a Russian prison in 2009 after exposing a major tax fraud scheme. Browder Sr. is an outspoken critic of Putin and the initiator of the Magnitsky Act.

According to Alexander, it was his father's story that inspired him to pursue investigations. He believes that today's schemes for financing war through cryptocurrencies require a new, younger generation of analysts.

Today, as every year on June 22, there will be a lot of grandstanding in Russia about World War II, about one of its bloodiest chapters – Nazi Germany’s invasion of the Soviet Union. A time that for Ukraine has always been a reminder of the importance of peace and of paying tribute to millions of innocent victims of World War II. This was the very period in the 20th century that should have forever changed the way every state and the world as a whole view human life – establishing life itself as the true highest value. There would have been no world wars if the leaders of that era had been guided by the value of human life rather than their imperial delusions.

Yet today, Russia began this day not by honoring those who fell in World War II, and not with signals that could help bring the current war – Russia’s war against Ukraine – closer to an end. Instead, it began with more completely unjustifiable killings. In the Sumy region, a Russian drone killed a child, a grandmother, and a man. The mother and two other children from the same family were wounded. Their home was destroyed. An ordinary home – not a military target whatsoever. In Zaporizhzhia, two people were killed overnight by Russian strikes, and seven others were injured. Tragically, the Odesa region has also seen lives lost. Strikes were carried out against the Kherson, Donetsk, and Kharkiv regions. Once again, Russia targeted energy infrastructure in the Chernihiv region.

This Russian war has no justifiable cause. Putin was driven by exactly the same motives as the aggressors who came before him. He shows the same contempt for human life. He is just as delusional about this absurd “empire” of his that nobody needs. This war must be brought to an end. It has been taking people's lives for nearly five years now. This full-scale war has already lasted longer than World War I. Perhaps Russia wants to wait until it has lasted longer than World War II as well. But the world certainly does not want that, and it certainly has the power to prevent it. There must be pressure on Putin, pressure on Russia, so that all of this ends in a dignified peace and with real, guaranteed protection for human life. Ukraine has put forward every proposal needed for diplomacy. Through our collective pressure on the aggressor, we must bring Russia to a point where it has no option left but diplomacy and ending the war. Thank you to everyone helping us defend Ukraine. Thank you to everyone helping us protect human life.
