A3: keep tracks of what you have to get done with a calendar or planner. and don’t forget to take time for yourself! mediate, workout, make yourself a good meal, get some rest, and make sure everything gets done on time⭐️
@FIDM A4: S O I M P O R T A N T!!!! in tv/film you need to know what is hot and what is next so you can dress your characters as accurate as possible ✨
@FIDM@AspynOvard@tesschristine A2: I l o v e d everything about the 1960’s and I love that these trends are starting to come back into style (first two vintage, last two Moschino 2018 ready-to-wear)
Ooh-la-la! Our students are currently exploring #France and #Italy on the #FIDM#EuropeanStudyTour! Want to see a behind-the-scenes look? Check out FIDM's Instagram highlight!
A4: if (when😉) I was costume designer I would love to work on a period piece ranging anywhere from the 1940's-1970's. There is something so special about the 20th century and how much fashion evolved. I would build binders for each character using the internet to research @FIDM
A2: If I were to be in any movie I would love to be in La La Land. The simple silhouettes and the playful colors that costume designer Mary Zophres' incorporated have a timeless and authentic feeling to each character that has this sort of nod of nostalgia
A2: to me, especially as an aspiring costume designer, costumes are the biggest part of any film or movie. the costumes are what makes the audience really connect the time period, the scenery, and even the emotions the character is feeling at any given scene! @FIDM#FIDMMuseum
A1: The movie that has the most dynamic costume to me was the great showman! each costume really captured each character in such a unique and special way that really helps the audience connect and feel apart of the movie
A4: a teacher you don’t see eye to eye with is always a challenge, but the best part about FIDM is classes are only 10 weeks! put your best foot forward and a smile on your face! there will always be coworkers and bosses you don’t like so this is great prep for the industry!
