I tagged @discord in my prior post to see what would happen. @discord_support reached out, tried to make it sound like my mistake, and then directed me to DMs to immediately tell me they will do nothing. In other words, account is still held hostage.

@discord_support No, it is not age verification. I am required to provide a mobile phone number, which is personal information, and is not a piece of information that should be required by users to interact with the platform.

@discord_support I spent an entire month across different support tickets to get that mark removed, and rather than work with me to protect my privacy you ignored it and effectively hold my account hostage in doing so.

@discord_support No, the account is not hacked. I have full control over the account and it has never been compromised. Your algorithms marked the account as malicious/compromised for some reason and now requires personal data I do not wish to share.

I will be logging in periodically to check those DMs, but not forever. I do not really plan to keep using this account anytime soon, but wanted to provide some context as to why I have all but disappeared from Discord in case some folks here were worried.
