With #Iceman, @Drake finally gave us the confidence to say the quiet part out loud: He’s better than the best Hip Hop has to offer by a mile, and he’s a way better musician.
🎙️🔥Dave reportedly in an interview on Drake:
"To be honest, I still don't understand why so many people are always coming for Drake. You're talking about someone who's influenced a whole generation of rappers and singers in many ways and from my experience, he's always shown love. He didn't have to jump on 'Wanna Know' when he did, but he did, and that opened doors for me that probably would've taken much longer to open otherwise."
"Beyond the music, I've always respected how he carries himself. People see the headlines and the controversies, but they don't always see the support he gives behind the scenes. That's why whenever these conversations come up, I look at the reality of what he's done for the culture and for artists like myself, and the criticism just doesn't always add up."
LUCKI says he’s dead serious about retiring from rap at 35 to become a label executive 👀
“When I'm 35 though, I'm serious. I'm not about to keep rapping... I could see myself having my own label, but I'm probably going to work for one of the majors. For sure I am, be an exec at one of the majors.”
