It isn’t Nigel Farage who is weaponising the Henry Nowak horror. It’s Keir Starmer. He is exploiting the family’s grief to silence public dissent on two-tier policing. It is repugnant, says Brendan O’Neill

The way the police behaved here tells you everything you need to know. They created the trouble. Used excessive and dangerous violence. They assaulted people and used dangerous tactics.
After the Black Lives Matter Movement became a 'thing' the UK Government announced 'Inclusive Britain'. They set up a group called 'Commission for Race and Ethnic Disparities'.
The Commission was established with ten experts drawn from a variety of fields spanning science, education, economics, broadcasting, medicine and policing. And with one exception, all are from ethnic minority backgrounds. Their job was to review inequality in the UK, and they focused on education, employment, crime and policing, and health. When they published their report it stated that disparities do exist however most of the time racism wasn't the cause.
The report did not deny that institutional racism exists in the UK. HOWEVER, the report did NOT find conclusive evidence of it in the specific areas it examined.
The report didn't go down too well 🤣.
They still went ahead with Inclusive Britain, setting out a 74 step action plan to apparantly level up ethnic disparities. One person leading the way was Kemi Badenoch 🙄.
Racism should never be ignored however ALL people across ALL institutions/sectors should be treat the same no matter what their ethnicity or skin colour. Giving special priviledges & priorities to ethnic/black groups will only cause more divide in the long run.
Schools should not be teaching children to be ashamed of their culture or skin colour. Early years is where these problems start. Most children don't even notice differences or aren't concerned about them, they accept everyone for who they are.
Policing should always stick to "without fear or favour" , no exceptions. If people dont like the data then they should question why certain groups are committing crime, not question why police are arresting them & accuse them of racism.
From here its just snowballed & now its got too big to stop. Firstly they have to admit theres a problem 🤷♀️
Speaking as a woman, all this crying over Robert Kenyon offending women on #bbcqt is making me cringe to my bones. Some women understand banter. We do it too. We’re not all touchy and humourless.

Another terrible Net Stupid Zero decision
42 acres of great Lincs farmland in my constituency lost to Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) that will just add to energy bills
Lincs Fire Brigade also admit they cannot extinguish toxic BESS fires https://t.co/n1fmBAsVXG
Apparently sitting on a wall is such a serious crime that it justifies the police beating a man senseless and then charging him with getting blood on the police shields.
@MissLauraMarcus Nope. For me she is an arch hypocrite globalist who was responsible for much of the embedding of toxic DEI and critical race theory type ideologies into our institutions when she was Equalities minister. Totally untrustworthy.
