Filipino cuisine varies by region & socio-economic status of the ppl. The reason why Filos eat more rice than ulam is to "fuel up" due to the conditions of work back in the days & we sort of ff the same tradition. Not everyone are lucky to rise up fr poverty or eat a balance diet
