As Kid Cudi himself said, before the tour, he told MIA she’s cant be “controversial”🙅🏽‍♂️

Part of that was instructing that she’s not allowed to do “ILLYGIRL” - a pro-immigrant song that happens to also shout out Palestine 🇵🇸

And MIA talking about Palestine was too “controversial” / “offensive” for Cudi

MIA was pissed about that and calling out Cudi on stage.

She said “Can’t do ILLYGIRL” (the song).

Then she pointed out the irony that there’s probably “ILLYGIRLS”/“illegals” in the crowd - yet she’s forbidden from performing a song supporting them during all this evil ICE shit.

MIA then points out that irony that half her team couldn’t get visas for the tour - as this current regime deems them “illegal”

Yet MIA still wasn’t allowed to perform “ILLYGIRL” to speak out on that thanks to Cudi’s rules for the tour.

Back then she was labeled a terrorist for that. Today it’s not controversial - but actually trendy & praised by the media - to speak out for immigrants.

Yet Cudi banned her from playing her 2010 song cuz it’s “controversial” or “offensive.”
