Easter HAF Holiday Club
This Easter half term we we have funded HAF spaces across a number of venues, offering fun, active days for children who are eligible for the Holiday Activities & Food (HAF) programme.
While schools provide essential education, young people also benefit from experiences outside of school that help them develop practical skills, confidence and independence.
That’s where youth programmes and community organisations play a crucial role.
Here at First Kick Foundation, our amazing team delivers youth work in so many ways, through fun and welcoming youth clubs, detached outreach in the community, and 1-to-1 mentoring that helps young people build confidence, resilience, and hope for the future. #FirstKickFoundation
Human connection is one of the most important factors in our overall wellbeing.
Whether it’s sharing a conversation, participating in group activities or simply spending time with others, social interaction helps people feel supported, valued and part of a community.

Strong communities are built when people feel connected, supported and included.
Community programmes play a vital role in bringing people together, creating spaces where individuals of all ages can connect, learn and support one another.
Youth clubs are often seen as just a place for young people to spend time after school - but their impact goes far deeper than that.
A well-run youth club creates a safe, supportive and positive environment where young people can socialise, develop skills and build confidence.
