I was using wahabi ideology against him.
I dont think he was khariji, because Ali fought khariji and he clearly called them khariji but he never called Muawiyah khariji, he said to Muawiyah i will take you to the court of Allah.

Not a single good thing about him is mentioned in sahih hadith
There is clear Sahih hadith in which Prophet SAW clearing mentions group which kill ammar will be calling people to jahanum & Muawiyah was leader of that group

But question is if he fought for cousin then why didn't he punish killers of Uthman when he came to power?
Ali was caliph & Ali said Uthman killer will be held accountable but Muawiyah still started war so doesn't that make him khariji?
