Today I had the most uplifting afternoon with His Eminence @BishopAngaelos at #Coptic Orthodox Church London.
Many values shared, including the importance of leaving space for God in our plans, and a joint passion for #Sudan. Looking forward to the power of our partnership!
Congratulations @YvetteCooperMP on your appointment as Foreign Secretary.
Amid rising humanitarian crises and global aid cuts, the UK’s leadership role on the world stage is more important than ever. As children face growing risks, we urge the UK Government to put children solidly at the heart of foreign and development policy.
We look forward to working with you to make this a reality. @FCDOGovUK
Heartbroken hearing the stories from my colleagues responding to the #myanmarquake crisis but heartened to see this support of our humanitarian aid efforts alongside other @decappeal members. Thanks @FCDOGovUK@DavidLammy and the UK public. Please keep it coming🙏🏻 @WorldVisionUK

A child’s future starts with water. On #WorldWaterDay2025, let’s celebrate clean water – it leads to improved #health, opportunities to grow nutritious #food and access to #education.
Would you sponsor a child to bring clean water to their community? https://t.co/Zn302pv2y6

Are we, as a nation, turning our backs on the world’s most vulnerable children?

She shared insights alongside The Guardian's @guardian Simon Jenkins, Tim Cross, and Adam Smith Institute's @ASI James Price, with @SeanFletcherTV leading the debate.

Behind-the-scenes view at @BBC studios this weekend as @WorldVisionUK’s Head of Programmes, Teleri Jardine, discusses the short-sightedness of cutting #foreignaid funding to top up #defencespending. It’ll lead to a less safe and less stable world. #counterproductive
The UK Government's foreign aid cuts will have devastating consequences for children in the world’s most fragile places.
Watch our Head of Global Programmes, Teleri Jardine, discuss this crucial issue live on BBC One Sunday Morning Live this Sunday at 10:30am, alongside Simon Jenkins, columnist for The Guardian and former editor of The Times.

Shocked & concerned to hear #budgetcuts to #UKAid today. As the largest international children’s charity, we know first-hand the devastating effects this will have on children living in the world’s toughest places & call on @Keir_Starmer to reconsider his position.
As the unrelenting war in Ukraine enters its fourth year, it continues to have a devastating impact on the wellbeing and survival of an entire generation of children.
6.3 million refugees have left Ukraine and another 3.6 million – 90% of whom are women and children - are still displaced within the country. Children are struggling to access the basic needs every child deserves, and are deprived of their rights to safety, education, health and a home.
Even if proposed peace talks result in an end to the fighting, the road to recovery for children and families will be a long and difficult one.
Please join us as we seek to bring hope, transformation and opportunity to those whose lives have been torn apart by this horrendous conflict.
Help us to act fast to protect children: https://t.co/lakWGxMUZE

The #humanitarian sector doesn’t always look this glamorous so was honoured to be invited to a special #Buckinghampalace reception yesterday with other @decappeal colleagues and special guests. So grateful to have @WorldVisionUK’s humanitarian work recognised by #KingCharles
An honour to have a seat at the table today with His Majesty, King Charles III @RoyalFamily at #BuckingamPalace to share & celebrate the support @WorldVisionUK & others are delivering in conflict zones & climate-related disasters around the world - most importantly for children.
