@FiiO_official I have quite a few 3 way active studio monitors at home and in studios.
The Q7 is a perfect partner to drive them.
In a few days time I will try the Q7 with a 4-way active spekar prototype as well, which costs almost 100 times more than the Q7. 🙂
@Hifi_Pig reviewed our (MRC22019) Planets album.
The review is mostly about our tape, but covers all the rest of the digital formats and music. A very detailed and entertaining review. Many thanks for @Hifi_Pig (and Alan McIntosh) spending time with it.

UK Prices have dropped for #RogerWaters' Lockdown Sessions release. The vinyl LP now starts at just over £20 and the CD is down to £13 > https://t.co/36bStFZvdj
@ifiaudio Building a system which can provide long term entertainment, is not easy and the process is more about understanding ourself than the technology.
@audiophilestyle@audio Soon you can hear at least one of the tracks of our MRC2201: Planets album in Atmos and in high-res immersive audio as well. Our next recording will be available in 352.8 kHz immersive audio too, beside stereo, and tape of course.
@ifiaudio This way you will spend much less money, but there is a good chance you will be retired when reach this point. It takes time.
See Point 1:
Be patient.
@ifiaudio - try to find your electronics
- start with the amps, driving your optimal speaker
- then go to the sources: find your CD, DAC, streamer, etc
- then you can start to play with cables and accesories
The latest single from the "professor of classic rock" Carl Baldassare was mixed on Danley studio monitors. If you're in the midwest or Cleveland, OH area, Carl's album release party is on June 17th at the Beachland Ballroom. #musicproduction#studiomonitors#mixedondanley
@Kmitchpg @MQAMusic @TIDAL@DigitalTrends@ifiaudio By the way, I tried to find out how much an end user can pay for enjoying MQA.

@Kmitchpg @MQAMusic @TIDAL@DigitalTrends@ifiaudio Generally Tidal app is enough. Tidal can do the first unfold up to 96 kHz and a renderer device like this can complete the rest.
@JoyceDiDonato@the_IAS It is a very different experience, no live concert can match this. It is lot more personal. You can discuss the music with the performers and the recording, technology with the engineers, producer.
@JoyceDiDonato@the_IAS Our My Reel Club® is a community funded, revenue sharing music recording and distribution project for audiophiles. The community members can attend to the live and public recording sessions in the studio or on-site and will get the high-res recordings as part of their membership.
