This is what a Pro 2A Attorney General looks like!
On the other hand, Republican supermajorities should have never passed waiting periods in the first place.
Every government office, including mine, exists to protect your God-given rights as enshrined in the U.S. Constitution.
That’s why we’re settling a landmark federal case that declares Florida’s 3-day firearm purchase waiting period unconstitutional under the Second Amendment.
@BrianHJacobson@Debi_Calvet Parkland gave Florida “Red Flag” gun confiscation, banned bump stocks, banned 18-20 year olds from purchasing long guns and extended waiting periods. Horrible legislation.
Let’s talk some truth, Team Collins.
Truth: the Parkland bill removed gun free zones from schools. It armed school teachers so a good guy with a gun could stop a bad guy with a gun. It funded school hardening to stop future attacks and requires regular threat assessments. Speaker Renner did not agree then or now with raising the age to purchase a long gun in the bill, which is why in 2023 and 2024, he was the first person to file legislation to bring the age back to 18.
Jay was in the State Senate. He could have co-sponsored the Speaker’s legislation, but chose not to because leadership in the Senate told him not to.
Then in 2025, Jay realized he needed to try and bolster his weak resume to run for Governor, so he put up a bill to do what Speaker Renner had already passed twice in the House. Guess what happened? It wasn’t even taken up for a hearing.
Do you know why? Because Jay lacks the true leadership skills necessary to get anything done that’s not already pre-approved.
Florida deserves its next Governor to be someone who will fight for what’s best for the state and can actually accomplish it.
Jay’s not that guy.
Ed Gallrein refused to complete the National Association for Gun Rights candidate survey distributed to congressional candidates on behalf of pro-gun voters.
The survey asked straightforward questions on major Second Amendment issues, including expanded background checks, federal “gun-free school zones,” and national Constitutional Carry legislation.
Gallrein has had every opportunity to reassure gun owners by simply going on the record. Instead, he has refused to answer.
Gun owners have seen the pattern before: staged campaign photos with firearms, vague “support the Second Amendment” slogans, and carefully scripted talking points that disappear the moment pressure comes from Washington insiders.
It's official! Kentucky successfully becomes even MORE pro-gun!
Despite Gov. Beshear's vetoes, two pro-gun bills were still passed into law. One bill protected the firearm industry against lawsuits seeking to put them out of business and the second strengthened KY's Constitutional Carry law.
NAGR was honored to be part of the honorary ceremonial bill signings with @realTJRoberts, @AaronReed4KY, @jjreeves and other pro-gun patriots in Frankfort.
@RickAddante@JayCollinsFL@ByronDonalds@JamesOKeefeIII We do surveys to get them on the record, politicians are liars so if they lie we hold them to accountable. Byron voted against the Parkland Bill in the State House so he actually has a record on this particular issue. The other two have not taken actions to end this injustice.
Glad to hear James is safe and has had his firearms returned to him.
This past session Republicans refused to even have a hearing on repealing these “Red Flag” gun confiscation laws.
Gun grabbers in Florida must be removed this upcoming primary election season.

We are sick of allowing collage campuses across the country to remain soft targets for criminals and terrorists.
Tomorrow, HB 1783, the Campus Carry bill, will be brought forward for a hearing.
