A Boeing 747-8F (B-LJN), Cathay Cargo 2086, crosses a 92% illuminated waxing gibbous Moon Florida's Space Coast, last night (9/23/26), en route from Anchorage (ANC) to Miami (MIA) @ 34,000 ft & 468 kts.

The sky was cloudy all night, but the Queen of the Skies was determined to be seen, showing up in a particularly dreamy way.

This particular Queen was the first aircraft in Cathay Cargo's entire 747 freighter fleet to wear their rebranded "Cathay Cargo" livery, sporting the new look before any of its sister ships. Delivered in 2016, it's about 10 years old now.
