@SabrinaBenizri I enjoyed incorporating the lectures and theories into things I personally experienced. I find it helped me understand them better π
@RoryCain14 I did for a few months starting highschool but mostly to rant and say things I'd probably cringe at today if I saw my old page π I guess thinking about it, that is was pretty impactful because I would never post like that today hahaha
Is Twitter something you've used or use?
@GabyEDUC307 I like electronic versions, especially PDFs because it makes it so easy to search and find information. But I also agree with @MaddyEDUC307 after a few hours it hurts my eyes and I start wishing I had a paper version
@GabyEDUC307 We had those installed throughout my HS years. They were really really cool at first, but eventually they were mostly all plagued with issues and weren't used as they were intended. It was such a cool feeling to see technology be integrated into the classroom
The take away I got from Mickey Mouse Monopoly, is that no matter how innocent a company can be, it always has an agenda if things to do. So we should not always count on our first impressions of an organization
@307_milan Honestly I like to have a set of typed notes, and then I feel the need to also write it out by hand, I find it helps me remember more than typing and reading.
@MacarenaRico1 Yeah I agree, in most of my highschool classes it was highly discouraged. However we did have mandatory classes that were in the computer labs and everything was done on the computer π€·Other than that you'd get in trouble for using technology haha
I think organizations choose the top-down communication model because it is easier for them to control information, as the UNDP states on its FB, it can delete or edit any comments it considers inappropriate or unacceptable
After watching Mickey Mouse Monopoly, I would be inclined to think that a company that huge, would control the messages it portrays. By hiding behind an innocent vail, Disney is able to include subliminal messages in its showings. Such as using darker characters to depict evils.
After viewing Patricia Arquette's statement demanding for equal pay, I took a closer look at the comments. It is weird to see that this discussion essentially became political, and people blaming the left or right for what is happening in our society.
