Both motions have carried after long discussion
No talk on penalties for coaches, players or administrators who are in violation of SB538, or the change to allowed expenses under SB178
Paul Selvidio says he wants to see more discussion had on SB538 and the proposed amendments since choice and open enrollment is a pillar of Florida
Allen Shirley, though, says the current system saw schools abuse it, which is why the regulations need to be put in place
Discussion has now moved to SB178
Teddy Bridgewater himself would have been in violation of the proposed FHSAA amendement to the bylaws since the Ubers that he paid for are considered a "recurring expenses," which are still banned for the FHSAA
So far, no discussion is being had on that

A human element (like looking a recent history - say last 3-4 years) should be in this but as it stands now, that doesn’t seem to be a thing in the process.
FHSAA executive director Craig Damon said the revisions are a product of many discussions with state legislators, school administrators and others. It is designed to "reel back in the abuse of school choice" that has spawned so many controversial transfers.
