Prestbury FC - A FM21 Story

Admiral Rodney takes @PrestburyFC from @conferencenorth to the top hopefully. @footballmanager. Kits by @fmcustomkits. Currently Season 12 in Premier League

Manager of the year.... Premier League Top Scorer (bought for £5m after a good loan). Premier League Young Player of the Year (bought for £2.9m). Good season #footballmanager21

Runners up. Wow what a tight finish when you look at 4 points separated the top 4. Madly we could have won the title. Easy to look through the fixtures and see 4 points dropped but look at our goals against. Best defence in the league. Some achievement for a little club #fm

Prestbury's greatest ever academy product fittingly becoming the leading ever appearance maker. 25 years old and coming up on 239 apps isn't bad for your club.

[Prestbury FC - A FM21 Story @FM21Story]

Before the season started, @prestburyfc were predicted 18th. After 2 seasons of staying up then slight growth, this season has been a huge leap forward as we are still, bizarrely, in the hunt for the title. The games played throws it slightly but still we are on for top four

Wow. I knew I was good but this summer window was a master stroke. I couldn't attract players good enough to go to next level...other than players who have been before so respect the club/manager. Paid over the odds for them but immediate leaders. Check out 10 games in... #fm21

This means that 5 of the next season's starting EPL 11 came through the academy. As you can see they cost a fair bit. £150m all in over the next 3 seasons. It will be an interesting strategy and wonder if pays off.

GUESS WHO's BACK!! Wracking my brain to think of how to take this club to the next level I knew @prestburyfc had to spend money. Looking at who was available I saw three names I knew. PFC Academy lads who had gone on to have stellar careers, Internationals and 23, 24 and 24.

AWARDS NIGHT

[Prestbury FC - A FM21 Story @FM21Story]

Second season in the Premier League boxed off. It was a steady improvement. Flirted with relegation for a period mid season but a solid final third saw us finish 14th. The hard part now is Im used to promotion year on year. This marginal gain can get tedious!

When your country comes calling..... from Conference North at a new club to Wembley.

[Prestbury FC - A FM21 Story @FM21Story]

We stayed up on the penultimate game! One of the biggest achievements on this whole journey to be honest. Something that really helped was the recalling of young regen I had on loan in Holland. Quickly became our best player. Premier League again next year

[Prestbury FC - A FM21 Story @FM21Story]

@Alcantara_SZN @prestburyfc @premierleague I spoke to your agent and I think your demands are unrealistic

[Prestbury FC - A FM21 Story @FM21Story]

Challenging times for @prestburyfc in the @premierleague. Half way through our debut season at the top table we are struggling. I have jettisoned the loan players and will stay up or go down developing our lads to either get us back up again or go to next level.

[Prestbury FC - A FM21 Story @FM21Story]

The 2nd half of the season has seen a very noticeable upturn in results for Prestbury. Every result has been tough but we have displayed mid table form. With 2 games to go we just need one more result to secure @premierleague status. Not bad after 12 points at half way stage

New league, new stadium, new era for @prestburyfc

[Prestbury FC - A FM21 Story @FM21Story]

Takeover done. In comes the wife to out take over from the husband. That wont go down well.

[Prestbury FC - A FM21 Story @FM21Story]

Take Over Rumours are gathering pace now that we are @premierleague it makes no surprise. Interesting how one consortium wants the manager who has taken them there sacked!!

End of Season Awards night. Balde cleans up.

[Prestbury FC - A FM21 Story @FM21Story]

Look how tight it was. Last summer we were nowhere near it in the playoffs and needed goals. We went out and signed Achenbach who was released by Chelsea and loaned in Balde from PSG. 62 goals between them!!! wow thats what brought it home

[Prestbury FC - A FM21 Story @FM21Story]

WE ARE @premierleague!!! On the last day of the season @prestburyfc not only secure promotion but also take the title from @LUFC. What an achievement to go from a new club in the Conference North to the top tier. Happy days

[Prestbury FC - A FM21 Story @FM21Story]

We went with the Columbian and he brought home the title. Won 7, lost 2 and drew 1

[Prestbury FC - A FM21 Story @FM21Story]

DISASTER. 2nd in the @SkyBetChamp table. 10 games to go. Our leading appearance holder (interestingly as has been on loan for 6 seasons and never been our player) and number 1 keeper has broken his leg. So in goes a rookie with a handful of games for the biggest spell #fm21

[Prestbury FC - A FM21 Story @FM21Story]

the choices to come in....older English backup @Bradyoung02 or a Columbian regen. We all love a young columbian regen. #footballmanager
