New Season Goals: It would be great to win the UCL again but it won't be the be all and end all for us. As long as we qualify for the 2037 FIFA CWC at some point. Improving league consistency and goals would be nice.

Finally, Champions of Europe!!! Thrashing Chelsea 4-0 in the final. A final that saw Bergwijn, Alvarez & Kudos all come off the bench for their final game before retirement

Obviously had a few players/agents come to me with their young prodigys over the years but this is the first time I've been snubbed. Have I missed out? Hopefully not

New season goals: It has to be capitalising on the UCL momentum. Establishing ourselves as a team that reaches the semis every year. I'd also like us to improve on our 87 League goals too

The usual Dutch treble but the real story of the season is the absolute heart break of losing the UCL final on penalties against Real Madrid having lead twice and conceding in the 94th minute.

We were the better team all game, with the most shots on and off target and the most possession. Neto's 122 minute strike was rightfully ruled out for offside where we then faced the lottery of a penalty shoot out. Gutted for them but it shows what this team can achieve.

I guess this experiment didn't work out too well. Barely a part of numerous Jong Ajax squads he was never going to make the grade.

This is something I overlooked when starting this challenge. Obviously a new feature of this years game is the ability to poach academy players. Decided to sign him to see how it would work. Shame he's awful. It hasn't gone down as £900k spent so he feels like an academy player.

A lot of the original squad has hit 30 now so I have stated accepting bids for the ones who were more squad players. It seems foolish to help them around now blocking any chances for the younger players to take.

New Season Goals: A new season is bringing another new formation as I look to take us further in the UCL. There will be a shift in the squad too. Bergwijn & Alvarez will be phased out to bring in more of my home grown players.
