@TS_Minstermen Likely issue is having no Stones and Malcolm this week left us a little light. Also odd choice at times playing RWB so high and choosing King who shows no intent to go in behind even though we look for that as an outball.
@PieCarlton@tonyjameson How does 3v3 give you the opportunity to mix abilities I find that even more less of an opportunity with 3v3.
Then with 3v2 that's another player of the pitch. Just didn't think the 5v5 format at u7 was that broken to make these changes.
@Kingwolf84@tonyjameson Yep your right this helps but still doesn't avoid the problems I have mentioned. The better players still end up getting more touches. I just don't think it there was anything to really fix from the 5v5 format, I like the idea of playing this at u6 level that would have been π
@tonyjameson Which for some who are little less confident and physical they just seem to be brushed to the side even more.
The format has caused havoc with player numbers as well for teams in the league local to us. For the sake of one year for me it might as well stayed as it was in 5v5.
@tonyjameson From I've seen the format is the problem. At a grassroots level with mixed abilities 3v3 doesn't allow for more touches for everyone. From what we have seen the better players actually just dominate the games more. Smaller pitches mean the games can be more intense 1/2

'You got promoted with Maresca and you've been shit ever since'
How on earth does a manager talk about his football club like that π π
