ONE MUG WATER TOWER PROJECT MBALE–ELGON REGION
Dear ladies who think that bride price is for your own good (pride), it is patriarchy manipulating you to think so. But, in actual fact, bride price neither empowers you, nor is it yours - minus the crumbs that fall off the bride price table. @SpireJim Bride price was meant to be a gesture of appreciation, not a payment for a human life. Our culture is beautiful, but it must never turn daughters into transactions. I agree with you that it has become a human trade.
