@sue_dayo@GorkaPintado18@3bR9vr6NUoAIeY0@girlskissing_4k Europe is still extremely patriarchal, im critcising my own continent. I dont see how thats superiority complex.
The whole point is that Japan hides a lot of cases to keep their PR internationally when in reality things are just as common as any western developed country
@sue_dayo@GorkaPintado18@3bR9vr6NUoAIeY0@girlskissing_4k The arrest rate in japan is around 35% while countries like france and england are between 35 and 50%. So once again, Japans low numbers are incredibly fake and are comparable to most western developed countries in reality
@sue_dayo@GorkaPintado18@3bR9vr6NUoAIeY0@girlskissing_4k FRA and Eurostat estimate 10 to 15% sexual assault cases are reported to the police, averaging 7% higher rate than Japan. Of the reported cases in japan, half of them are registered officially by the police, while in europe nearly all of them are registered
@ponpon_azarashi@RedVortex25@monksin@TokyoSilk2 U havent rebutted anything cuz u dont know portuguese and havent read any article. U asked chatgpt about it and it regurgitated a shit answer. Do some research and read some papers, being lazy in Japan especially is a death sentence.
@ponpon_azarashi@RedVortex25@monksin@TokyoSilk2 The study also shows numbers for sexual violence within relashionships which are around a further 5% or more, its estimsted 1,5M portuguese people have been sexually assualted in their lifetime. Dont speak about things u dont know about
@ponpon_azarashi@RedVortex25@monksin@TokyoSilk2 I never claimed those were rape numbers i claimed those were sexual assault numbers. The study shows 12,3% of women have claimed to have been sexually assaulted at the workplace and 5,2% of men, which equals 1M people.
@sue_dayo@GorkaPintado18@3bR9vr6NUoAIeY0@girlskissing_4k Underreporting is an issue everywhere, such is natural in a patriarchal society. However the issue in Japan is extremely accentuated. Most studies only 5 to 10% of cases are reported to the police. This in a country where martial rape is not considered rape.
@ponpon_azarashi@RedVortex25@monksin@TokyoSilk2 Are u stupid? Rape is included in sexual violence. The study shows both sexual violence, violence outside of relashionships and sexual assault stats. Please dont act like u know more than a local about a local study. The study came out late 2023/start 2024.
@GorkaPintado18@3bR9vr6NUoAIeY0@girlskissing_4k i fail to see how rape is directively coorelative to armed robbery or murder. they can be related but most of the time they exist independant of each other as most rape cases happen within families.
@LPs6gaml9N52743@enigmartyr@King2Eclipse Pedophilia in itself is not a crime, its a mental disorder. Sexually abusing children is a crime. U can be a pedophile and not be arrested.
@ponpon_azarashi@RedVortex25@monksin@TokyoSilk2 Oficially the government has done no actual research to, once again, look better internationally. You trust ur government blindly, as is common with the japanese people.
@ponpon_azarashi@RedVortex25@monksin@TokyoSilk2 The Portuguese National Statistics Institute revealed in 2024 that 1,5M portuguese people revelealed they were sexually assaulted. Comparing that number to the number of reported cases data shows around 80% of cases go unreported, if not slightly above.
