I first came across this video last night and was disgusted. I thought everyone seeing it would have the same reaction I had and that we’d all condemn the King for abusing his wife!

Boy, was I wrong. I’ve come across tweets and comments:
1. praising him for addressing the issue of wives respecting their pastors over their husbands;

2. lamenting her for not leaving when he’s made it clear that he wants her to leave;

3. blaming her for courting the attention of other men; and

4. accusing her of treason for recording him and releasing the footage.

Kganthe what kind of society are we living in where a victim is blamed and the abuser gets praised?
