A FODAC chair is helping a child in Honduras! Family Health & Development Foundation Honduras picked up the chair and transported it to Honduras. Genesis has cerebral palsy.
Witnessing the staff and especially the staff with disabilities working to help others with their disability needs was so rewarding. The service at FODAC is such a needed service to the clients they serve. FODAC is a true miracle."
Last week, FODAC was visited by a Healthcare Quality Association on Accreditation (HQAA) surveyor as part of the accreditation renewal process. FODAC remains the only re-use non-profit organization in Georgia with this important national credential.
Here's what the surveyor had to say about FODAC: "The time I spent with FODAC during the survey process, was eye-opening. Their mission to serve and support clients with their disability needs is beyond anything I have witnessed in my 30 years of DME experience.
The shipment includes items requested by Ukrainian hospitals such as cots, wound care kits, orthopedic braces, respiratory equipment, and canes – many of which FODAC had in excess or from partners.
Hooray! After months of collecting, organizing, and managing logistics, a 2nd shipment of 37 pallets left our FODAC warehouse to help the people of Ukraine.
