We apply $100 worth of phosphorus. Why can't we get that $100 back into the plant? 🤔
Most growers get between $10 and $30 of it back that year. We think that could be $70–$80, just by maintaining better microbial levels, and allowing the plant to ask for it.

Bringing our farm into the future of elite seed treatments and bio controls.
A lot of people still talk about biologicals like they’re “coming someday.” They’re already here!
Excited to see BW Defend going to work on our soybeans this season. Time to put it to the test where it matters most.@bw_fusion

I use meltdown on every acre in the fall to cycle what’s in the system and release for next years crop.
How to raise a big crop? Follow a big crop!
RelaxRx applied with post herbicide is doing exactly what we designed it to do: keep the plant running full capacity and driving root growth while it metabolizes herbicide. Those improved nodal roots will be critical as we get deeper into the summer months. @bw_fusion
Was able to do another Yield Monitor vs Weigh wagon comparison yesterday. Take home yield monitors are great for field variability determination but not for hybrid comparisons. For hybrid/variety data you need to use a scale 4 good data. Bad data is worse than no data. #ontag
Pretty proud of this guy! He was reserve grand feeder at our county fair and sells October 10th. The FSF Perfection cattle are really good an this one no different.
Always important to try new ideas and management on your own farm. Putting @GranularAg Nitrogen to the test added +10 bu/A and $43/acre profit to the bottom line compared to the grower practice in this @UNLincoln field trial.
Haven’t put phosphate on in 5 years. 5 years corn on corn with cereal rye cover crop and cattle on the winter and added biologicals.. Yields some of strongest in 25 years of farming it, no lime applied in 7 years, an only 75# of potash applied last 3 years in season. Cool to see
Argus reporting that an Egyptian company has sold a small block of #urea at $900/MT. That is not a mistype.
For reference, using those economics, NOLA urea is trading $190 BELOW those replacement values...
Get ready for a North America price move...
