Happy #WorldOceanDay2024! Today, we celebrate the beauty and importance of our oceans! Let's take a moment to appreciate them and commit to protecting them for future generations. Whether it's reducing plastic use, or participating in clean-up activities, every action counts🌊🐠
Lab member @KBoerder, a co-lead on the Community Eelgrass Restoration Initiative (https://t.co/UBxYvSAGa1), collaborated with @SailGP and @SailGPDEN last week! Check out this awesome video to see what they got up to 🌊🌱

The Community Eelgrass Restoration Initiative in the UK with the @ProjectSeagrass! Learning a lot about growing and caring for eelgrass seeds and shoots; lessons that will be brought back to Canada to inform restoration efforts here on the east coast!
Lab members @KBoerder and Amy spent a week at @univmiami working with and learning about the new AquaX, created by an ecosystem modeler @Nuestracr. He has ~30k marine species distributions modeled globally (incl. mammals, fish, reptiles, cephalopods, bivalves, etc)!
Happy #worldseagrassday!
