Last nights incident in Belfast is no excuse for tonights rascist attacks. Rascists are exploiting mostly young people without thought for the consequences. People deserve better. Say no to rascism.
Decisions on migration should be taken in Ireland.
Fianna Fáil-Fine Gael opting Ireland into the EU Migration Pact is wrong.
It undermines Irish sovereignty, hands power on migration over to Brussels and won’t fix the serious problems that this government has created.

"I would urge them to amend their position and call for a date for a border poll. Otherwise, their words in support of constitutional change, no matter how earnest and sincere, will ring hollow." @irishborderpoll@bjacollins@FOSFUSA@SouthBelfastSF

I have spent the last few days in the United States meeting political and business leaders, trade unions, and the Irish diaspora.
It was an invaluable opportunity to showcase the very best of our people and island, and to make the case for greater investment, creating more well-paid jobs and building a better future for people at home.
The historic change unfolding in Ireland was front and centre of conversations.
With more and more people at home looking to a future beyond the Union, there is growing interest in what comes next.
There is a new chapter being written.
A future where all our people take control of their own affairs and destiny, and together shape a united Ireland that betters the lives of everyone who calls this island home.

"There are eleven councils, and this year Sinn Féin took the leadership role in six councils, including the largest urban councils of Belfast, Derry and Strabane, as well as councils covering Armagh, Fermanagh, and Tyrone." Ciarán Quinn's latest.

A new & united Ireland is about giving future generations the best opportunities in life.
We can have a stronger health service, deliver more social & affordable homes, build a world-class education system & create better job prospects for our young people.
It was fantastic to speak at a packed event on how we must seize the huge opportunities ahead to better the lives of workers, families & communities across Ireland.
The future is ours to shape, & the possibilities are enormous.

“Every family deserves equal access to truth, justice and accountability.
“The cynical handling of legacy issues from the British Prime Minister...has undermined confidence in current legacy mechanisms and deepened hurt." @moneillsf https://t.co/Il8h9wmMpn
The Government has gutted the Occupied Territories Bill.
By excluding services which make up almost 70% of Ireland’s trade with the Occupied Territories, they have deliberately weakened its impact.
After 8 years of delays, the Bill falls far short of what’s needed.
The government should work with the opposition to pass the original Occupied Territories Bill in full. 🇵🇸
The revival of the Irish language across Ireland is something we should all be proud of.
That is why it is so disappointing to hear the Minister for Education say there will be no new Gaelscoileanna or Gaelcholaistí until at least 2032. At a time when demand for Irish-medium education is growing, this is a missed opportunity.
Tá sé de cheart ag gach páiste a oideachas a fháil trí mheán na Gaeilge. Every child should have the right to be educated through our first national language. The demand is there, we need more Gaelscoileanna and Gaelcholaistí now. Tír gan teanga, tír gan anam 🇮🇪
