🇰🇬 On June 5, 2025, the Kyrgyz Republic officially launched its national family planning commitments dashboard: TRACK.SDG3.7, co-organized by FP2030 Asia and the Pacific Hub, the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, UNFPA Kyrgyz Republic, and the Family Planning Alliance.

🚀 The strength of TRACK.SDG3.7 is the government’s proactive leadership—not merely participating, but co-creating the initiative with UNFPA Kyrgyz Republic, the Family Planning Alliance, regional medical centers, and other key partners, while also formally endorsing the process.

Throughout its development, FP2030 Asia and the Pacific Regional Hub, the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyz Republic, UNFPA Kyrgyz Republic, and the Family Planning Alliance held regular consultations to ensure strategic alignment with stakeholders, making the Dashboard not just a tool, but a collaborative effort to advance reproductive health in the Kyrgyz Republic. 👥

This groundbreaking platform transforms how we monitor and implement FP2030 commitments. It consolidates data, enables real-time tracking, and fosters country-led accountability. ⚡️

🇻🇳 Vietnam has officially launched its national commitment to FP2030—an ambitious move to strengthen equitable access to family planning services for all.

📈 In 2024, the modern contraceptive prevalence rate rose to 49.3%, but a significant unmet need for family planning still persists, particularly among marginalized and underserved communities. Addressing this gap is essential to achieving reproductive health and rights for everyone in Vietnam.

💬 Mr. Le Tranh Dung, Director of the Vietnam Population Authority (VNPA), believes that cross-actor cooperation and leadership from the Ministry of Health can enable Vietnam to achieve its family planning goals by 2030!

Despite years of global investment and advocacy, maternal mortality remains dangerously high in many developing countries. In Asia, about 38% of pregnancies are unplanned, and 1 in 5 end in abortion, a sign that many people still don’t have the contraceptive access they need. Meeting the unmet need for modern contraception could prevent up to 70% of unplanned pregnancies and significantly reduce both maternal and newborn deaths. 💬

If everyone who wanted modern contraception could access it, the number of unintended pregnancies in Asia would drop by 74%, from 32.2 million to just 8.5 million. ✨
