50 years ago today, "Meals on Wheels" began in Salina with the help of FPC Service Circle C. This is further proof that when we dream with God, God can do wonderful things through us. What do you think God is calling us to dream about today that could have an impact in 50 years?
So we made our own Web of Love in worship - it’s a work in progress! Can you imagine what the web of love through all space & time looks like? Can you imagine what God could do through us if we tended to our connections to God & one another so that God’s Love nourished all of us?
Tonight at Midweek Manna, we talked about 1 John 4:7-21. We talked about how the scripture describes a web of love with God at the center and us all around. God’s love is reaching towards us and is available for us to accept. Then we also see God’s love as we connect with others.
God Squad met last night at Pastor Keith’s house with special guest Randy Graham. We enjoyed pizza, shared highs and lows, and talked about what the lectionary is for scripture we read in worship on Sunday.
