Monday, April 26 park staff will conduct a controlled burn resulting in the closure of numerous trails shaded in red. 🚷Hikers are encouraged to use the Fitness Trail or Snows Cut Trails for their daily walks. Park facilities operate as normal, however smoky conditions may exist.
Mount Mitchell State Park: Closed Wed. March 31
The park and trails will be closing on Wed., Mar. 31 due to an incoming winter storm. Overnight parking will not be permitted. The BRP will be closed N & S of the park. Please check the park's webpage for updates.
