Current Draft:
Current thinking is BB1 followed by an early WC, though I’d like to hold the WC until after the international break, potentially GW 6.
Fairly template. Settled on more picks than I usually am at this stage, but plenty of time for chaos still.
@GameweekGuru@palmer_fpl The role last year was different.
Was more RM, sometimes in a 3 ATB, but was predominantly in his natural position at RB/LB.
He does seem nailed, RW or not, and for the sake of two games not much to lose in the 0.5 saving, maybe 4 DEFCON points
Current draft update.
A few changes since my last draft:
White replaces my Arsenal defender, Mbeumo comes in for Szobo and Rodon funds the move by replacing Gvardiol.
The big one I'm still wrestling with:
Szobo + £5.0m DEF or Wirtz + Rodon?
Currently leaning Wirtz + Rodon.
@FPL_JianBatra Mbeumo has been selected at ST by Carrick a lot more than Cunha.
Amad also looks to be in a good place so I don’t see him being moved from RW.
I think there is a slight risk Cunha doesnt start GW 1 whereas Mbeumo is nailed.
Mbeumo also has some set piece share
I'm currently leaning Wirtz.
With the early WC, I'm more interested in chasing the ceiling while we still don't know exactly where the value lies.
Szobo is probably the better season long pick.
But for the first few GWs, I think Wirtz could be worth the gamble.

Wirtz vs Szoboszlai is becoming a real dilemma for me.
Szobo is the safe pick. Minutes look secure and he has multiple routes to points.
But we still don't know exactly where he'll play, how much DEFCON he'll get in that position or if he's on pens.
1/5
Szobo is more of a ‘sure’ thing.
Minutes are secure, with goals, assists, bonus and potentially DEFCON all offering routes to points.
Wirtz has more uncertainty.
But uncertainty is exactly why I’m planning an early WC.
