Please don’t call me arrogant because what I am saying is true. I am an amateur football champion, so I am not one of the bottle. I think I’m a special one
As @SullyTalkz, @UtdNadd, @CCTransfers16 & @shaunconnolly85 have reported over the past two weeks, Manchester United have been in talks with Mateus Fernandes & working on this deal for months.
The consensus is he's very keen on joining & the club believe he is giving them priority over other clubs following talks with his reps, with Fernandes seeing the opportunity to join United as his dream move.
It's also clear this is the club's #1 priority & the thing they are working on right now. They've put in ground work, Bruno Fernandes (his idol) & Diogo Dalot have been speaking to him also. That matters.
A player this good is always going to have interest across Europe & fierce competition for him. Fee has been mentioned as key & West Ham have set their asking price publicly.
Now only time will tell if a middle ground will be found & all the work on this deal will pay off, but personally I'm not going to overreact to every new report 🤷♂️
@biolakazeem Anybody can blame players. Very easy to do. Some facts:
— Rashford is still the only player post Sir Alex to do a 30 goal season for us (no pens)
— Has a better goal per game ratio for us then Teddy Sheringham while playing as a winger in our banter era
He has my best wishes
@NatsSource@OSB9_@nonewthing I’d be surprised if it’s Neves tbh
Doue is more fitting. Alvarez too. Do wonder if he ruled out a Premier League player to misdirect us
West Ham intend to set Mateus Fernandes asking price at £80m.
Southampton due 15 per cent sell-on.
#MUFC interested in 21-year-old, among several midfield options. PSG also considering an approach.

Spent my day watching Ederson.
These are my thoughts as a fan, not an analyst, so no deep dive here—just surface-level observations. I’m also focusing only on the positives.
He looks more like an 8 than a 6.
I think you get the best out of him when he’s allowed to roam.
He’s not an expansive passer, but he won’t give the ball away recklessly like ugarte
I wouldn’t rely on him as an outlet under heavy pressure.
He has goals in him, not from set pieces, but from arriving late in the box. Very McTominay-esque, he can score more than Casemiro did in 4 years
Loves a give-and-go. Passes and moves rather than standing still (most of the time)
Off the ball:
Willing dueller.
Significantly improves the team’s pressing.
Has an incredible engine and looks capable of playing every minute of a season.
Physical specimen.
Gives me Declan Rice vibes in the sense that you’d have to take a leg off him to keep him unavailable.
Not a yellow-card magnet. Plays with a calm head.
That’s all.
