Digne, Salah (c) & Sterling the essentials. AWB over Stones is less risky. Decent fixtures for Trossard & Wesley. TAA, Lamela & Rashford or VvD, Moura & Jimenez/Kean final decision. 🤔
@FPLOlympian@FPL_Maxime From a Tunisian, Dahmen is a nailed starter. Despite selecting up to four goalies, manager Jalel Kadri has confirmed that Dahmen should be his no.1 goalie on a TV program.
Seen so many wildcard squads floating around with Lacazette featuring in none. A bit weird considering his upcoming fixtures but glad he is involved in mine. A pretty decent differential, if he maintains his current form!
@SpaceMonkeysFPL@theayushjain "The team who have collected the most points in H2H duels *between the sides lying level on points, goal difference and number of goals scored* (...)"
They have to be level on points first, GD second and GScored in third. If they're level on all three, this is when they use H2H.
@SpaceMonkeysFPL@theayushjain Read that again - If teams have the same number of points, GD is the first tie-breaker, with goals scored representing the second if GD is the same. H2H comes in third level, replacing play-offs.
After spending all day switching the captaincy armband between Pulisic and Foden, making the wrong decision two gameweeks in a row would have been disappointing. Alonso transferred in for a hit and gets the armband!
💯 points all out. Satisfied with the decision to triple captain de Bruyne though I was hoping for more returns. No second wildcard delayed the use of FH and BB chips to later gameweeks. Son over Mahrez the only selection to regret. We go again tomorrow!
@SmuelMartinFPL @BrennanChanZW Preferred Son to Mahrez personally, for the long run. Mahrez and KdB did well, both getting subbed just after the hour mark should mean them getting a few minutes against Burnley as well!
It was on Aguero since ever, until reports of him being "uninspiring" in training emerged. Safer gametime and penalty duties also played a role in the change. Now fingers crossed for de Bruyne to start against Burnley too, or even features for thirty minutes! 🤞
@BrennanChanZW @SmuelMartinFPL KdB seemed to have more minutes in him and always been a favourite of Pep. He only missed two games so he was obviously a safer pick, especially for a triple captain selection. Aguero was still in form today and should bang a goal or two against Burnley, hopefully!
@BrennanChanZW I'm struggling to find the source but it's this tweet (https://t.co/JXMB5q5jN2) that ignited the fire in me to check. Some of his ex-teammates (Lescott, Richards) also declared he's lazy in training and with his playing time this season being far less than KdB, this settled it.
Interesting point raised by @barCOLEYna about Aguero being notoriously uninspiring during training and the implications this may have on the upcoming games. With them being behind closed doors it’s likely there will be a lot of similarities to training games.
GW30+ Squad featuring 5 DGW players with Triple Captain de Bruyne favoured to Aguero. Late calls included Son over Mahrez/Barnes/Sarr and DCL ahead of Jota/Deeney/Pukki. Bench Boost kept for next GW and Free Hit for a later stage, with no second Wildcard. - So good to be back! 🤙
Prefering a (-8) to wildcarding is going well so far. Captaining Sterling was not safe so forced me to buy Aguero for Haller. A choice including Salah and TAA leaving my team for Son and Otamendi. - All returned! Relatively no problem with Sterling benched & wildcard intact.
Finishing the third Gameweek on 59 points (217 in overall) and now sitting just two positions behind the top 8k. Benching 12-pointer Lamela in GW2 and 9-pointer Wesley in GW3 the major let-downs. Wildcard intact but now owning three Aston Villa players due to poor judgement. 😅
