You might need the FTs to get Saka (or any other restructure) in the future. Don’t waste FTs

@EBL2017 @otchere_andrew I almost cried at how well you explained Wirtz’s flaws. I’ve been struggling to find the correct words. It’s precisely this: he has no pausa what so ever. Sometimes there’s space to turn, or to progress, or to force committing movements from ops. But he ALWAYS looks to play fast.

@RudyXFantasy Have you thought about getting in Isak? Would give you an extra premium. I think the 6m forwards aren’t anywhere near as good as Isak, but I do think Odegaard and Saka are close although Saka is better.

- Keeps Calafiori
- MGW over Rogers (similar xPts but allows for pivots)
- Szobo over Schade who is more fixture proof (necessary because of the dead fwd spot)

@BorderlineFPL I looked at 1.39xG, 3.95xA in 19 matches, and thought, let me instead go for the 100% DefCon rate guy with similar attacking threat. Silly me. There's more to football than numbers, so I just bought him for protection. With his high ownership, I don't even mind if he blanks.

@ElementaryFPL I owned him and watched him carefully, it's true man. I like him as a player, and I hope he'll get a different role moving forward, but it's been painful to watch him just hug the sideline all games.

As you can see, this is my GW6 (@gameweekhaul ) team. I have 2.2 ITB and 1 FT.

Option 1: Slater -> Schade/Tavernier/Scott/Stach
Option 2: Palmer -> Saka

@TrophyFpl Yeah, Maguire is the only real problem. Make sure to get a reliable defender for him that you are comfortable playing in many GWs. That way you can delay your WC until we have another fixture swing, GW6 isn't one.

@FPL_Dean Honestly, this is a great team. You have just been unlucky. The only thing I'd suggest is to get some depth (since you have a dead spot fwd). This is not an improvement, but provides resilience:
Out: Hornicek, Mendy
In: Kinsky/Verb/4.5 and Justin/Ajer/4.5

Gross is an such an enigma. To me, it seemed like he had few routes to points (other than Pens): not great xGI nor high defcon rate. Presumably, this is why he was priced at 5.5. I don’t think he will regress as much as people think.

@FPLBroccoli I don't disagree. Isak is not EV-efficient. I think however he is viable given the effiency of the meta picks: Konsa, MDC, Cala. My team looks weaker than it should because I had to unexpectedly transfer out NOR. Picture Slater being Odegaard.
