๐จ NEW VIDEO IS LIVE! ๐จ
World Cup Fantasy has got me back posting on YouTube! ๐ฅณ
So much so that I apparently ended up making an hour-long video ๐
Covered in the video:
๐๏ธ Chip strategy & planning
๐ฅ My first draft explained
๐ฌ Players that scare me
๐ Differentials I am considering
Iโd love to know if you rate my team as much as I do because I honestly think I might have something pretty solid here haha

I think I have nailed my World Cup Fantasy Team.
I like it so much that I want to make a video on it explaining my thinking, and to share the hours of planning I have been doing over the last few days...
This World Cup might have me coming back to YouTube after all ๐
I like how every so often a player comes through that changes a position
We have never had such a good dribbler, driving his team up the pitch from RB like this, have we??
If Inter Milan signs ๐ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ข ๐ฃ๐๐๐๐ฆ๐ง๐ฅ๐ (๐ฎ๐ญ) this summer, it will be one of the ๐๐๐ฆ๐ง ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ก๐ ๐ฆ๐๐๐ก๐๐ก๐๐ฆ of 2026/27.

I was going to do a video about my updated draft, but the truth is there are SO MANY question marks about players' minutes, who is nailed to start, who is 100% fit, and even who is staying under 5% or not, etc etc etc.
So instead of adding more noise and confusion, my next video will just be my final draft ๐
Realistically, the only player that is nailed for me is Ronaldo, but that is purely from a biased & love for Portugal POV.
Players I hate not being able to fit in:
๐บ Nuno Mendes
๐บ Cucurella
๐บ Kane
๐บ Mbappe
๐บ Havertz
๐บ Raphinha
The biggest worry I have is I am not fitting in any of the above to accommodate Yamal, and if Yamal isn't 100% fit, he seems the obvious player to take out. But then if he is 100% fit, I think he is a top 3 pick to start with.
Differentials I am constantly switching between:
๐ Galindez
๐ Rangel
๐ Rochet
๐ Nyland
๐ Vargas
๐ Oliveira
๐ Ordonez
๐ Konsa*
๐ Reece James*
๐ Theo Hernandez
๐ Vuskovic
๐ Saibari
๐ Nico Williams
๐ Joao Neves
๐ Paez
๐ Angulo
๐ Enner Valencia
*If the news about Stones being first choice is true, then I'd ignore these two.
I spent days constantly changing my team, but Iโm genuinely so happy with this draft now that I havenโt touched it since Thursday night ๐
I know friendlies and press conferences will probably influence me before the deadline, but I really like this team and the overall plan haha
Reminder that you can watch my full video below where I explain all the picks, omissions, chip strategy, and group stage planning ๐
@Sejdzuuu Yeah I like it mate, brave to go against lots of popular picks
I am not 100% sure Suarez is first choice for Colombia though, but could be wrong
๐จ EXCL: Luรญs Suรกrez has now reached an agreement on personal terms with Fenerbahรงe project backed by presidential candidate Hakan Safi.
Move remains conditional on the outcome of the club's presidential election in the coming days โ and agreement on fee with Sporting CP.
Yeah he would do really well and Fenerbahce is a great club
But don't understand why we would agree to sell and why he would want to leave us when we could challenge for the Portuguese league and have been good in the champions league ๐ญ
Sounds like he will leave then. Maybe we are getting a big fee for him
Wanted to find out where Portugal ranked amongst nations that have played in the World Cup by population - turns out we are not even top half.
This is the list ChatGPT gave me for anyone interested ๐

Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott is poised to make his England debut in the forthcoming World Cup warm-up games in the United States ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟโญ
@heat_ball@dafr2k@forestmad80 You're ignoring the fact that England as a team has regressed, whereas Germany & Portugal have improved in every area
I know the worst thing someone has ever gone through is relative to their own life experience, but my god the way some footballers and their wives talk sometimes is ridiculous.
You played in the best league in the world making millions. You get to represent one of the greatest footballing nations ever at a World Cup.
You are literally living the dream life for millions of kids.
Yet the way they talk youโd think life was dreadful because Paquetรก didnโt get a move to Man City.
Get a grip ๐คฆโโ๏ธ
๐จLucas Paquetรกโs wife:
โHis dream was to play for Manchester City and he missed it. That messed with his head a lot. People may have a sense of how bad it was, but Lucas and I always say that no one will know what we went through. No one will ever understand.โ
Yeah I think he will possibly play every game, and probably around 80mins - if we are winning comfortably he will come off around 75-80mins, if not he probably stays on all game.
The way we play doesn't demand too much of him physically and he still recovers well, and to be honest, he probably decides as much as Martinez how much he plays tbh ๐
So he maybe even plays against Colombia if we are serious about topping the group, or if he is playing well and thinks he has a chance at the golden boot
