I’m sure you’re well aware that the problem isn’t what happened today, it’s a much broader issue that starts from you.

What’s embarrassing is constructing a narrative that deliberately misleads to portray Madrid, and only Madrid, as victims of some grand conspiracy.

What Madrid TV has been doing is embarrassing at best, and malicious at worst. If the refs are incompetent and inconsistent, they’re incompetent and inconsistent for everyone.

You realise how irresponsible it is, being one of the biggest clubs in the world, to unleash a witch hunt?

If Madrid care about fighting the good fight, there’s a proper way to do so. Collaborate with everyone in the league, find a better system to both: a) hold the refs accountable and b) protect them from vile abuse.

Running a smear campaign against them on your official media channel is bottom of the barrel stuff.
