I'm back and ready for the new season. I hadnt touched my draft in days and then the Kane news led to a last minute shuffle. Edouard comes in for Kane and with the extra funds I've upgraded Jota, Brooks and Dalot to Salah, Richarlison and Shaw.

Went AWOL during the last few months of the season. Here's how I'm finishing up:

Tierney, Gabriel, Rodrigo and Firmino come in for Stones, Shaw, KDB and Solanke (-8).

To summarise:
-I've WC'd into a GW rank of 10mil
-My bench outscored my XI (removing captain 2x)
-I scored 58 fewer than if I forgot to do my team, and 86 in the past 2GWs.
-In 4 GWs I've dropped from 23k to 400k

Can it actually get any worse in #GW27 ? 🤣

Everyone expects to have a bad GW, but to continually do worse than your previous team is soul-destroying and makes you question whether it's worth playing. Hoping to end that run next GW.

It's been another brutal GW. I WC'd after my team looked like it was in disarray in #GW25. I've got more points on my bench than my XI. I think I've also calculated I'd have 51more points if I forgot to change my team (with Mee & Andreas) to play.

Really been a tough few GWs. I took Martinelli out because I felt he lost his place in the team. He played 180mins. Ake outscored Tarkowski, Mykolenko and Andreas combined even though city conceded. I kept KDB rather than panicking and taking an extra hit for Saka.

There's not having a good week... and then there's actively sabotaging your team three weeks in a row. Never have I needed a Salah haul more than tonight. I held KDB too and it looks like he won't even get me a point... 🫣

After a couple of ropey transfers, I'm going back to basics and bringing in nailed players. Unless Everton get atleast 1 CS, I think I go backwards. I've got full faith in Dyche-ball!

I don't think Utd keep a cleansheet vs Leeds and I'm worried about Shaw's minutes in #GW24 with their upcoming European games. Playing with fire by spinning the Pep roulette but Ake seems to be the most nailed defender this season...

@FplAntics Fair point, I think Ake has less competition since Cancelo left. For Akanji it makes me a bit uneasy that Pep could put Dias or Laporte in the team at any time and they could go on a run of games. Stones injury gives some respite. No point overthinking, Pep does what he wants! 🤣

Super GW that catapulted me into the Top 25k. Decision to hold Mee over Botman paid off. Picking Kane over KDB and the Mitoma transfer also paid off. After #GW21 was filled with poor decisions, it was nice to turn it around quickly!

Very boring transfers, annoyingly I went early on Mitoma. If I waited a day longer Rodrigo would have made way. This might cost me a hit approaching GW25. TC Rashford. Last minute switch from KDB to Kane.
