The FIFA ticketing website has been an absolute shambles the entire tournament. Currently, it's just a 5min period before logging you out on mobile devices. #FWC2022

For anyone wanting to check if their details were in the FFHub data breach - it looks like HIBP have added the details to their database for you to search.

Changed mine already. Create a unique one. It's not Hubs fault if you reuse passwords for important accounts!

For anyone who is unaware, Have I Been Pwned is for anyone to quickly assess if they may have been put at risk due to an online account of theirs having been compromised or "pwned" in a data breach. You can sign up for alerts on new breaches impacting you

@stuskl @wardtwit Oh sorry I actually meant hold them to ransom against the users rather than the company. e.g. How much would you pay to get your FPL account back.

@stuskl @wardtwit I think the motive is an interesting one to consider. Most breaches like this the intent is to actually get to a users other accounts, more valuable services, such as Netflix. Only other way of monetising it is holding the FPL accounts to ransom. But no sign of that yet.

@stuskl @wardtwit Yeah I seriously doubt they used a third party. Feels very much like a features first, security last site - or in this case, not at all. Quite fitting that it's Cyber Security awareness month.
