NE Fury Platinum 18U Carpe: Softball
July 17, 2026. NE Fury Platinum 18U Carpe played 2 games in the opening day of the Northern Exposure Summer Showcase in CT. The team won 2 both games with strong pitching and defense as well as timely hitting.

NE Fury Platinum 18U Carpe defeated Invasion Fastpitch 18U National by the score of 2-1.

Pitcher Jenna Callahan pitched 6 strong innings allowing only 1 run and struck out 6 batters to earn the win in the circle and bat on offense Jenna had 1 hit (single) and scored 1 run.

Reegan Durden blasted a solo home run to left field, scored a run and had 1 RBI.

Mia Duncan had 1 hit (single) and 1 RBI.

Tess Farnsworth had 1 hit (single) and 1 walk.

Mariana Xavier had 1 hit (double). Mariana also made multiple plays on defense for outs including a double play.

Madison Delano had 1 hit (single).

Catherine Grimaldi had 1 walk.

Tyla Gambacorta and Sadie Patel each made multiple plays on defense for outs.

NE Fury Platinum 18U Carpe defeated Kaboom 18U Lazar by the score of 3-2.

The game was tied 2-2 in the fourth inning when Tess Farnsworth hit a double which scored Reegan Durden for the go ahead run which ended up being the game winner. In the bottom of the sixth inning with 2 Kaboom 18U Lazier runners on base with 2 outs, third baseman Madison Delano and catcher Kelsey Whitman combined to get a runner out attempting to score for a standout play that would have tied the game.

Pitcher Tyla Gambacorta pitched 5 strong innings allowing only 1 run and struck out 5 batters to earn the win in the circle.

Tess Farnsworth had 2 hits (double, single) and 1 RBI.

Mariana Xavier hit a home run, scored a run and had 2 RBIs.

Maggie Schlossberg had 2 hits (2 doubles).

Jenna Callahan had 2 hits (2 singles).

Sadie Patel had 1 hit (single) and 1 walk.

Reegan Durden had 1 hit (single) scored 1 run.

Sadie Patel and Jenna Callahan made multiple plays for outs on defense.
