Dr. Richard O’Malley said there was never a decision made to eliminate cheerleading or any part of the cheerleading programs in Florence One Schools. “We are very proud of our cheerleading programs, and they will continue (to exist) as they have in the past,” said Dr. O’Malley.

Through a partnership agreement, Florence 1 will provide services in the areas of curriculum, instruction, professional development, special education, human resources, finance, and food services for Florence Four. in exchage for $345,874.

RJ Mack a rising sophomore at South Florence High School is representing Florence at an Ambassador's Leadership Summit at UCLA this week. He was recommended to attend by his first grade teacher Jessica Crowson (Lester Elementary).

All Florence 1 students who intend to use school bus services next year will be required to have a bus transportation registration form on file in order to determine eligibility to ride to and from school. The form is found online. Call 843.673.1118 for more info.
