Today, we started our @FPS_Computing unit on coding. We will be designing and making our own game so we conducted some research into the types of games we could make and had a go at playing them.
Reception have also been learning how to type the vowels using a keyboard. They had to match the lower case letter on the screen with an upper case letter on the keyboard.β¨οΈπ»
Year 3 have been using pre-populated databases to play a βGuess Whoβ type game. They have taken a tally of the number of questions they asked their friends and had to ask clever questions to minimise the number of questions asked.
Year 1 have been making a βMagic Number Machineβ using spreadsheet software. It counts the number of items placed in different coloured boxes. Tricky stuff! 1οΈβ£2οΈβ£3οΈβ£π΄π΅π’

Year 6 have been looking at alternative endings to Little Red Riding Hood as a model for how to create their own adventure story. They planned one this week and will make their own story next week. πΊ
