FPU crews are on the scene working to find the cause of flickering lights in the Mulberry area. Customers on the following streets might be affected:

FPU’s water department is repairing a significant leak in a main water line at 933 Winchester Highway. Water is turned off for a few customers in the direct area. Others in the surrounding areas could experience lower water pressure until the issue is resolved.

FPU electric crews are working to resolve a power outage. Customers affected by this outage are in the areas of McDonald Street, Elmwood Circle, William D. Jones Boulevard and parts of Wilson Parkway. We will keep you updated and let you know when the issue is resolved.

FPU crews will repair a water leak on 3rd Avenue beginning at 9:00 tonight. Customers from Central Boulevard to Ralph Askins School will be affected. Repairs should take approximately 1 hour.

There is currently a water leak located north of 510 Shelbyville Hwy near Giles Hollow Rd. Customers in this area will be without water while the repairs are being made. Crews are working to make these repairs now.

This will only affect our customers with fiber internet (northwest and southwest areas of the county). FPU internet customers with a cable modem will not experience an interruption of service.

Fayetteville Public Utilities has scheduled a planned internet interruption beginning at 12:01AM on Thursday, January 26, and lasting no longer than 3 hours while we complete necessary maintenance to our equipment.

On Wednesday, January 11, at 9:00 a.m., Fayetteville Public Utilities will replace the traffic light control cabinet on Huntsville Hwy. at the intersection of LCHS and Sonic.

While these repairs are made, the traffic light will operate in flashing mode. Please use appropriate safe driving rules while the light is flashing. Your patience and understanding are appreciated as crews quickly and safely complete these necessary repairs.

The traffic light on Huntsville Hwy at the Sonic/Walmart intersection has malfunctioned and will be flashing throughout the weekend. We will make repairs as soon as the necessary parts are received. When approaching this intersection, please proceed with caution.

There is currently a water line break on Eldad Road. Customers in this area will be without water while these repairs are being made. Crews are onsite working to make these repairs now. The repair process should last approximately 2 and ½ hours.
