Where a testator has niche assets, e.g. a tank collection, consider appointing a POA to deal with them them sooner, rather than in a will to their perhaps less enthusiastic children

Finally, I was intrigued to be introduced to "gamified" NFTs: play the game and lose, you lose everything; play and win, you get another NFT. What irresistible Black Mirroresque excitement for a beneficiary!

When holding these assets, the question is the same as for traditional investments: are you seeking short term profit or long term gain, and how will they achieve this? Best to hold the unusual asset in a purpose trust separate from the main one.

I have started a course on Computer Science for Law with Harvard University (CS50L). I last studied computing as a small part of my Chemistry Masters in Computational Crystallography and it’s blindingly obvious to say that the field has moved on in over 10 years.

MPs just voted on a motion to remove private schools' £1,700,000,000 tax break.

That could pay for free school meals for *all* primary school pupils almost twice over.

But Tory MPs voted it down, choosing to protect elite private schools, not improve opportunities for all kids.
