@lagibbs1987 did you ever figure out how to block that app on your kids kindle? I did a Google search and found your post. I cannot get rid of it either - that and a few other titles.sooo frustrating!
The school did not notify me until the next day, where my child had been in class and recess with the perpetrator for four hours. The school conflict specialist said he was made aware the night before.

16 hours until MXC nursing students are scheduled to report to area hospitals for clinical rotations. Not a word from CCC on what the plan is, only “show up to class”. Classic #CCC. Head in the sand, students in the dark.
@CCCTU_Local1600
And then, when the instructor doesn’t show up because they are on strike, they will be unreachable because faculty will be locked out of CCC email and Brightspace.
Many of my peers are scheduled for a 6:30am class tomorrow morning. @ChiCityColleges has yet to acknowledge the @CCCTU_Local1600 strike to us as students. There have been no announcements, other than "plan to show up for class as scheduled". #ccctu#solidaritywithccctu
Rochelle Robinson of @CCCTU_Local1600 gets a standing ovation at the @iftaft convention as she lays out their efforts to win a fair contract and willingness to strike if @chicagosmayor continues to block progress In their negotiations.

Gonna be wild when CCCTU 1600 strikes and @ChiCityColleges doesn’t have ASL interpreters in the classroom.
@Chancellor_Juan help us reach a contract so our students aren’t left without access to their classes!
Calling it now - before too long we will be told that Ventra or some other private company wants to buy the CTA and we should let them because the city hasn’t been managing it well. Remember: it’s a scam. It’s purposeful.
Parent in my community has a 6th grader with an IEP. Child does not yet have a diverse learner specialist to support them, just a sub that is pulled to other classes is often used. What recourse does she have? This seems illegal. @chicagospedpac @miriamcb anyone know?
And when admin was asked if students, potentially retaking these 8 week classes, would need to pay again, they replied with “that’s a question for the business office.”
@LoriLightfoot your city is about to lose out on dozens of new healthcare workers.
MXC Nursing Admins have confirmed that graduation will be delayed for all LPN and RN students if the @CCCTU_Local1600 strike lasts more than one week. Stop playing, CCC!!! #faircontractnow#solidarityWithCCCTU
