The art of mulligans in Commander
Your opening hand can be a deciding factor between having a good game or a non-game. Most people don’t look too hard at their openers or make good mulligan decisions
Heres a couple of tips for better mulls
Commander Mullingan Rules TLDR
•Keep commander hands with enough mana to cast your commander
•Avoid hands with all payoff cards
•Look for engine pieces your deck needs to function
Prismari is probably the weakest of the precons
Seems like a really fun deck but it wants to cast big spells and doesn’t have the ramp that Quandrix has
Here’s my completely objective ranking of the new Strixhaven Commander decks
•Witherbloom
•Quandrix
•Silverquill
•Lorehold
•Prismari
I will be explaining myself
Must have missed this Strixhaven spoiler
A 2 mana “rock” that can be your commander
Really feel like I need a build for this where I copy it, bounce it to hand, and do some shenanigans.
Just don’t know what they are yet
Fun little combo I’ve been playing in Zellix/ Haunted one
Not infinite necessarily but very fun
Even without Millikin, Intruder Alarm should be in more Zellix decks than 16%
For new players looking to fix their mana base in their commander decks, here’s a few rules to help you out
•Good card draw
•Minimum 38 lands
•Count your color requirements
All this will lead you to less “non-games” 1/
