You remember that fit I wore when I worked for Surveillance? All the black and purple and red? I think that was probably my edgiest phase bar none.
I... think it's still in the closet somewhere, actually.
The softest gasp escaped her, follow by a sweet chuckle.
βYeah. Long day AND week if I am honest.β
She gently pushed him back down onto the bed before crawling on top of him.
He placed a small kiss on her neck riiiight where she likes it most when she snuggled into him.
"Alright, then. C'mon, sweetheart."
He led her along by the hand to the bedroom.
"Long day, huh?"
There is another sob.
And another softer one.
She doesnβt even know how to speak right now, her breath is uneven and she is all worked up and terribly frustrated.
βY-yeahβ¦β
He will find her sitting leaned against the wall, eyes swollen, cheeks red, perhaps she has been β
He could hear the sobbing as he walked through the front door.
"Oh jesusβ"
He rushed down the hall quickly and knocked on the door.
"Mei? You wanna talk?"
βI donβt have any intentions of ever stopping. I love you. I love you. I looove you. So so so much.β
Now she is returning some of those smooches, properly.
He continued his assault of kisses for a moment before finally locking her into one of his deep smooches he was known for.
"Keep telling me how much you love me. I never get tired of hearing it."
βNononononono ββ
She is trying to block his path by getting between him and his coat, gently taking his icy hand to kiss it instead.
βWe donβt want any trouble, alright? He didnβt mean it.β
Alek just blinked. Flambae. He always hated that guy the moment he met him. His fists curled the way they always did when something like this happened β ice forming on his knuckles.
"Alright, then. I'll be sure to say something to him."
He was already reaching for his coat.
He let out a long, exhausted sigh as he pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Fine, fine. I... promise."
It would take every single fiber of his being not to pay whoever or whatever did this to her a visit.
