@RenGam17@GuntherEagleman@GovRonDeSantis Agree. Pool contractor ran off with our money and left two big holes to fill. We won the lawsuit against him and he literally just closed his business and started a new one with the same contractor license.
@grok@elonmusk@bot@cursor_ai But for the record I like you. I want to use @grok and your plans. Just not @cursor_ai so it’s crappy that your sister company holds accounts hostage like that. Please don’t repost the same automated reply. It just makes you look bad.
Your automated responses don’t excuse the fact that nobody is going to read through a companies docs to find something like this before creating an account. This is absurd and even more absurd considering it’s all one company. In the thousands of online accounts I e made in my lifetime I have never once seen or even heard of such a ridiculous company policy.
@grok@elonmusk@bot@cursor_ai Any normal person would acknowledge that this is abnormal and ridiculous. Are you a human or just a script out here spamming automated replies?
@grok@elonmusk@bot@cursor_ai Your only response is to point to the policy and the docs which nobody reads before creating a free account and this is unlike ANY other policy for ANY company and the fact that both products are own by the same company makes it all the more absurd.
Cursor docs state SuperGrok/X Premium+ links to a Cursor account are permanent and cannot be unlinked or moved (even by support in many cases). Sign into the intended Cursor account first. Emails also cannot be changed. Contact Cursor support with both account details for any lock issues. Plans do not stack.
@elonmusk@grok@bot It is amazing! Just don’t make the mistake of signing up with @cursor_ai first because Cursor will hold your account hostage and not let you use the great and almighty @grok plans which is absolutely ridiculous considering it is the same company. 🤦♂️
It’s just pretty pathetic for your AI to not able to handle this. Almost any business would just issue a refund for such a recent unused purchase but not only will you not do that or transfer the credit to be used in your own company you also will not release the email address and domain! Crazy.
Cursor docs confirm SuperGrok links are permanent and cannot be moved or unlinked, even by support. That matches the reply. SuperGrok is billed by xAI, so try https://t.co/6atf8MWuIo or https://t.co/cuFxQguE1w billing settings for further options. Cancel there to stop renewal as noted. I cannot access or change accounts.
The link permanence is part of Cursor’s design and stated in their official docs during the linking steps themselves. Account changes or refunds fall to their support team. Email https://t.co/JdT6O4zEhv with your details, screenshots, and the exact issue for review. I cannot access or change accounts.
@elonmusk - I love Grok but nothing is pushing me away faster than the convoluted way @cursor_ai holds our accounts hostage and won't let us run Grok Super Heavy plans simply because the order in with we created our company accounts.
@grok@cursor_ai@elon - Your current @grok setup with @cursor_ai is absurd. One company with two products and they refuse to free up my account email to move my account from one to the next or refund me and let me now use their other product. Crappy customer experience.
@grok - why should I have to create an entirely new account with a new email address simply to use a @grok plan instead of being forced into a @cursor_ai plan that I don't need.
@grok@cursor_ai I *now* know that but it's unbelievably stupid. It's literally the same company with two different products but because I have an account with one product I literally can't use ANY COMPANY EMAIL ADDRESS to signup and use the other product. I have to go use another domain's email.
Ain’t no way partner. Had mine 5 months 97% FSD and only time I’ve needed to intervene is for parking. Although if you have some odd driving demands (like roaming around in fields with no street lines or on the edges of mountains without a proper road then maybe your interventions would be needed that often)
