The government intervening to place train drivers salaries at 70k is not natural and should it be left to a free market would not be that.

I agree that the 1% should pay more than others, but bearing in mind how much they already pay, is it not unfair to ask them to pay more?

@martynw69278154 @Super7Coach @MahyarTousi If we are discussing the original point posed - being that those more fortunate should pay their fair share, then the impact of the tax rise is irrelevant as they are already paying 30x more than their fair share hence any extra will exacerbate the existing unfairness.
