Food for thought…. Holding a student accountable for their actions shouldn’t make the teacher the “bad guy”. Help students reflect and learn from their mistakes in a safe environment so they learn to be more responsible humans.

Always depressing to hear when a great teacher, especially a young one with so much potential, leaves the teaching profession because they feel under appreciated and overworked. Retaining amazing teachers needs to be a priority. #teacherretention @HCPSS

Over the past two weeks I’ve spent time traveling in Vancouver, Alaska, Toronto and Niagara Falls. It was an amazing vacation getting outdoors with my kids and doing more than just our normal (but fun) theme park vacations. Next on the bucket list- Hawaii!!!

@ZBauermaster Why? Principals often have to leave school to attend mid day meetings but need to be back prior to dismissal. This helps reserve a parking spot so they don’t waste time fighting for a spot. I find it totally appropriate
