Over 100 FRVI leaders packed the Elgin City Hall tonight in support of the re-zoning of 1212 Larkin. The vote was scheduled for next week but in a surprise move the council vote 8-0 in support of the zoning changes for 48 units of affordable permanent supportive housing!

200 FRVI leaders from institutions across Elgin filled the city council chamber in favor of 48 units of affordable supportive housing. P&Z Commission voted 5 to 1 in favor of the zoning changes! Next up city council.
