@realJournit@ComeHometoRome@Saved5872@HwsEleutheroi Or the Judaizers. for example. The Book of Galatians is an antidote against the teachings of the RCC and Luther metaphorically called the Epistle his wife of a reason.
@ComeHometoRome@Saved5872@HwsEleutheroi That is not true at all. CCC 1129 teaches that "The Church affirms that for believers the sacraments of the New Covenant are necessary for salvation," citing the Council of Trent. Sacraments are works.
@Freegracec @redeemed_zoomer So you proved my point. I really wanted you to be right, because I, again, do not like MacArthur, but it is just wrong to call him the revivor of Nestorianism for one thing he said in a sermon years ago. Show me two other times in which he has been Nestorian and I will agree.
@Freegracec @redeemed_zoomer Send me a link, I am interested. Again, I do not even listen to him, but I think calling him the one who revived Nestorianism is a bit too much.
@Freegracec @redeemed_zoomer Exactly what I said. He has preached over 5,000 sermons and in only one, maybe two, has he said something like that. And I am sure you have not even listened to it, but base your opinion on what Redeemed Zoomer says.
@Freegracec @redeemed_zoomer None of them have done any of the things you have said. MacArthur's only (unjustified) Nestorian comment is found in a very tiny percentage of his sermons, and it is not something he preaches daily or even stands firmly on.
@redeemed_zoomer If you separate the human nature and the divine one into two different persons or combine them into one nature, you are denying the entire gospel.
Once Roman Catholics start adding to the gospel, well, there's no end to what they can come up with.
Again...not a single bishop at Nicea believed what these folks believe as dogma. Not a one. Think about it.
