To end the week on a golden note, Sudeep Adhikari, first-year PhD student @UFPlantbreeding with Dr. Geoffrey Meru @UFTropical won first-place in oral talks @FSHS_Hort 2025 meeting! His talk was titled 'Battling Whiteflies in Cucurbita Crops'. Congratulations, Sudeep!
Congratulations to Jairo Arcos, third-year PhD student @UFPlantbreeding, for 2nd place in the oral talks @FSHS_Hort 2025 meeting! His talk was "The Effect of Phosphorus Fertilizer Rates in Romaine and Iceberg Lettuce in Histosol Soils". Way to go, Jairo!
